From AIDS Project Los Angeles to Waterloo Counseling Center here in Austin, I love serving my LGBTQ+ community.
What my family and friends in the LGBTQ+ community have taught me is that many of their life experiences are like mine. But there are experiences that the hetero/gender-normative community does not have. Though your experience may differ, that does not mean that you are the Other. Your story is important. And your story is important to me. I look forward to hearing it, and seeing where you would like to go next.
